About the Video
For this project, I took on the editing role for an engaging office tour video featuring Jen and Simon, both of whom are from Taiwan and work at Canva. The video aims to provide viewers with an inside look at the dynamic work environment and culture at Canva.
The video begins with Jen introducing Simon, and together they start the tour of Canva's vibrant office. They explore various departments, showcasing unique features, creative workspaces, and the collaborative atmosphere that defines Canva.
My role involved carefully reviewing the provided footage to identify and select the most engaging and relevant parts for the audience. I focused on highlighting moments that showcase the innovative and inclusive environment at Canva.
The editing process was aimed at maintaining a smooth and cohesive flow, ensuring that the transitions between different segments felt natural. I used minimal animation to keep the focus on the authentic interactions and the office environment. Background music was subtly incorporated to enhance the viewing experience without detracting from the content.
This project allowed me to utilize my skills in video editing and storytelling, resulting in a compelling office tour that effectively highlights Canva's unique workplace and the experiences of its employees.
